Business Analyst

Business Analyst - Logistics / Warehouse - Northampton - c£ 50k - Car Allowance We are looking for a Business Analyst who is able to do the traditional scoping / BRD piece but also able to act as a non-technical architect to pull together the technical solution designs to ensure they meet the requirements both in terms of meeting minimum requirements. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Work with business colleagues and customers to capture scope requirements for projects, change requests or initiatives and innovations Create business requirement document and gain sign off from relevant stakeholders Work with technical colleagues to ensure IT solution meets business, commercial and strategic requirements Present final solution back to senior stakeholders As part of a project team, ensure project implementations are delivered in line with BRD and solution design Engage with customers on high level change conversations to help create initial business cases Work with business colleagues on commercial propositions Provide assistance 3rd line support teams with business process and overall solution knowledge Support colleagues in the analysis of the structure and processes with the business operations, how it uses technology to identify process improvements Working with other members of the IT team, persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies Support teams with IT and the wider business in the strategy and innovation reviews of applications and tools Experience and Qualifications Experience working with senior decision makers in commercial engagements Strong communication/interpersonal skills Proven analytical background Able to translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa Leadership and management skills, able to lead and collaborate with business and technical teams Commercial awareness Problem-solving aptitude Analytical skills Understanding of the need for strategic IT solutions Familiarity with various hardware technologies in use in warehouse and logistics environments Proven ability of thought leadership Able to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, providing consultancy as appropriate to ensure confidence proposed IT solutions Influential, able to work with diverse stakeholders and achieve a common vision Resilient, able to work in complex, ambiguous environments, leading and fostering a collaborative culture that delivers shared outcomes Capable of working with third party suppliers to ensure support for planning and delivery activities Able to make informed decisions on a wide range of complex technical requirements and issues Able to work independently as well as part of a team structure Please send your CV for further information.
