Overview

I am working on an excellent opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk/Administrator looking to advance their Accounts Payable career in a family run business within a close-knit team. My Client can offer an excellent working environment, the opportunity to work as part of a motivated team and on behalf of a company with a clear commitment to sustainability. This will initially be a temporary role with the strong potential to convert to a permanent position. The role will be based in Coatbridge and there are have excellent public transport links and parking on-site. This is a high-volume processing role and therefore applicants must have previous experience of Purchase Ledger processing and query resolution. Job Description: High volume invoice processing Setting up new suppliers and amending details Query resolution and managing payments and invoices Statement reconciliations Occasional support with BACS and CHAPS payments to suppliers Ensuring all filing is accurate and up to date Meeting and greeting visitors Being the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries to the business Typing correspondence Assisting with marketing Managing databases Requirements: Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to manage own workload Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with both internal and external contacts Ability to work as part of a team Good working knowledge of computerised systems and advanced Excel skills Sage 50 knowledge is desirable but not essential If you are interested in this role and wish to be considered, please click apply Whilst we'd love to get back to every applicant personally, it isn't always possible and sadly we cannot provide individual feedback.
