High Achieving Professional Organisation Career Driven individual looking for a role outside of the finance norm Strong personality to work in a fast paced retail environment Otto James Consulting is supporting a Cheshire based International Retail brand in the recruitment of a Financial Controller to focus on UK and Mainland Europe Sales & Marketing The Role The role of Financial Controller will be supporting both the Commercial and Operational Reporting teams, and has been created As my client looks to its 2020 growth strategy and the increased presence that finance will have as they structure new investment which will catapult them into 2021 and beyond. The organisations growth has lead to a newly created role, instrumental in the modelling of KPI scenarios and delivery. You will be reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, while also working closely with the CEO, Production Director and 4 Geographic Sales Managers. The commerciality of the role means the successful qualified accountant will need to have experience in the engagement of none financial stakeholders within a fast paced environment. Financial Planning & Analysis will support the organisation in the delivery and dissemination of highly complex and integral data. You will be responsible for taking this information and delivering to the key stakeholders across the Sales and Marketing while also working autonomously with the wider finance teams. This is a high level position with the organisation, and therefore your reporting line will be directly into the Group Finance Director, who has highlighted this as a key position within his organisation and therefore will mentor the successful applicant directly. Key Area's / Responsibility / Requirements Financial Planning & Analysis - Advanced Excel (Macros, modelling, pivot tables, and lookups), Revenue reporting and recognition Man management of a team of 4 Highly collaborative with a high level of communicative reporting skills Competitor analysis - Brand & Sector Internal operational review KPI reporting - Sales & Operations Yours skills as an accounting professional and a commercial analyst will be utilised to help drive profit. Your Profile The highly communicative nature of this role, and its twinning with detailed reporting and business critical information, means that this role is suited to Qualified accounting professional who understand how complex information can be delivered to targeted audience in a fashion which ensures the team, division and organisation reach their goal. Salary & Benefits £48,000 to £53,000 plus Bonus
