Overview
Rutherford Briant are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Manager for a Top 40 accountancy firm based in Stevenage. Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Audit Partner managing their teams on a range of interesting and growing audit clients. Experience of the supervision and training of members of staff is essential as is a hand’s on approach to both client work and creating good working relationships with new and existing clients. To be considered applicants should have the relevant Audit and Accounts technical experience and competence. They should be ambitious and self motivated with the desire to develop their career and possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and be able prioritise their time and meet deadlines. They should be commercially strong and able to attend Board level meetings. Corporate tax knowledge is essential and some corporate finance experience would be useful given the client base. They will also be expected to be very client facing as well as attend prospect meetings and grow the client base further. Candidate should be ACA/ACCA qualified with 2 years post qualification practice experience.
