We are now have an opening for a broad FP&A role for a newly qualified accountant to support us as we continue to growth rapidly. Key responsibilities will include commercial analysis, budgeting and long-term business planning as well as monthly reporting. Who we're looking for? An ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well within a team and passionate about what they do. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key. In this role, you will be working with the Finance Director, Head of growth and the wider leadership team, as well being a key member of the finance team. You will also work closely with the data team on analysis and data modelling. Requirements What you'll be doing You want to work in faced paced start-up environment and be involved in a broad number of projects You are commercially and strategically minded whilst having an eye for detail and are numerically astute - You are interested in technology as a tool for data analysis, automation and improving business understanding and processes Ideally, you have had exposure to and possess an understanding of financial models - Exposure to and understanding of data analytics tools such as PowerBI or Tableau or similar would be a bonus Energy Industry experience or SME experience is desirable Commercial analysis: Supporting the FD and Head of Growth in understanding the key commercial drivers of the business Working with the Head of Growth and FD to determine effective customer acquisition, retention and pricing strategies Working with the Data team to build and maintain relevant parts of the company Data model and preparing KPI dashboards Budgeting long term Business planning: Taking a key role in the annual budgeting process Initially supporting before taking ownership of the of the long-term Business planning excel model Supporting the annual strategy process through commercial and financial analysis Monthly reporting: Support the co-ordination of the monthly Board report Prepare commentary and analysis on the financial performance of the business Candidate Profile: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) You are described as a self-starter Strong excel skills Ideally, you're degree educated from a good university Benefits What's in it for you?
