Overview
Lynx services is recruiting for a Class 2 driver/loader to collect refuse/recycling from residential properties and dispose of in designated receptacles. Hours of Work Thur: 5am-12pm Sat 5am-11am Responsibilities To collect refuse/recycling from requested locations Dispose of refuse/recycling at appropriate waste collection sites Carry out daily vehicle inspections and complete appropriate paperwork Ensure compliance with both company vehicle policy and all legislative requirements Operate the compaction controls of a company vehicle when required Work as a member of a team and receive any instructions from supervisors and communicate them to other crew members To ensure satisfactory completion of work in accordance with instructions To operate the 'in cab device' Ensure paperwork is completed fully and passed to relevant supervisor Maintain the best operational relationship between the public, other customers and client representatives by dealing courteously with complaints and enquiries Ensure that where premises, gates, barriers etc are unlocked to gain access, they are re-locked paying particular attention to the safeguarding of keys Cleaning rubbish dumped irresponsibly (i.e. fly tipped) Give advice, guidance and assistant to new or inexperienced staff Be compliant with Health and Safety at work requirements Carry out and assist with loading responsibilities as required Carry out any reasonable task or undertake such other duties and responsibilities as may be required At all times carrying out responsibilities/duties with regard to the Company's Equal Opportunities Policy.
