Branded Merchandiser (Ladies Fashion)

The Company: We have an exciting opportunity for a Branded Merchandiser to join an established Ladieswear supplier. You will support the Buyer in the smooth running of the critical path from order placement to wholesale customer delivery, as well as maximising sales opportunities and profit potential whilst minimising markdown spend. You will be responsible for the planning and stock management of product across all channels. Working closely with Buying on maximising profit by putting the right product, in the right channels at the right times. The Role: Managing all aspects of the critical path, liaising with the factories daily to ensure on time delivery schedule. Weekly commitment and distribution review. Managing approval process with factory and in-house Buyer. Overseeing the order confirmation and delivery process for concession and wholesale orders, assisted by the team admin. Sending required information to third parties for initial order bookings. Regular contact with customers regarding order updates. Logistic bookings to arrange deliveries Prepares accurate reports for weekly trade, quarter reviews and strategy meetings. Makes recommendations to improve department reporting. Reviews sales forecasts based on performance, and actions re forecasts. Analyses and monitors best and worst sellers and makes informed recommendations for action. Able to make recommendations for OTB and sales adjustments based on current and historical trading patterns. Monitor stock commitment and intake phasing. Manage stock flow and stock levels. Collating data to optimise the sales volume and profitability of all channels. Supporting planning of budgets by category, option count, and depth of buy based on the overall business and financial goals of the company. Contributes to the analysis and preparation for seasonal planning and frameworks. Complete lessons learnt analysis, end of month, end of quarter, end of half etc. Monitors and maintains buying margin and gross profit margins as requested. Other duties as required. SKILLS REQUIRED: Have either 2 years Merchandising experience at an Import or Retailer. Have strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage workload and prioritise where required. Very organised with strong attention to detail.
