Overview

Director of Shared Service Centre (12 month FTC) Midlands £110,000 car allowance bonus Our client is looking to recruit a Director of their Midlands based Shared Service Centre. The Shared Service Centre Director will be a strong leader, creating a positive culture to guide employees through current changes in the business. The Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining business-wide processes on a local scale, defining roles and responsibilities associated with these processes. As the Director, you will be responsible for knowledge transfer between internal customers and the Shared Service Centre while supporting the implementation of a UK SSC structure, with a potential for a future European-wide rollout. As part of your role, you will be required to:- Set up and lead the local SSC team to achieve the stated objectives and services, encouraging partnership between the SSC and the relevant business functions Streamline internal administration, standardising and enhancing the quality of functions and processes Define and discuss business value, financial and organisational impact Support and coordinate the local process solution design and development activities in cooperation with other SSC leaders Review and redefine policy and procedure Establish Escalation and Resolution protocols across the SSC, its affiliates and wider group functions Ensure regulatory compliance and best-practice standards Review of data acquisition system Build and develop a strong leadership team Skills and Experience required of the Director of Shared Service Centre will include: Strong problem solving and negotiation skills Strong communication and collaborative skills An ability to motivate staff at all levels Strong service orientation/responsiveness A good grasp of economics and commercial awareness Proven strong change management skills Decisive, with strong conflict and problem-resolution skills Social and intercultural intelligence Knowledge of business processes with the ability to optimise business functions Development of KPI and operationalising their use as standard practice Proven cross-functional team leadership and disciplined project management
