Overview
Opportunity for a lab administrator role within a Chemistry testing laboratory based in Cambridgeshire. This is a permanent opportunity, paying up to £17,000 per annum An exciting opportunity with excellent chances for development and progression. Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of premium Microbiology testing for the retail and consumer sectors. Due to continued expansion and strong company performance our client is seeking to recruit to candidates for their sample reception/sample preparation laboratory. Key responsibilities: Process food and water samples for analysis Perform data entry and admin work Make to perform all duties/tests to the specified quality and technical standards Preparation media and general maintenance of the lab Ensure results are reported to utility customers on time Ensure laboratory has adequate stock of consumables to run the shifts Requirements: Passion and interest in Science and to work within scientific industry - Happy to consider candidates who come from any type of background with interest in Science. Previous experience in admin work or data entry work is desirable For this role you'll need to be able to follow strict instructions and guidelines. You will be a self-motivated perfectionist and thrive on delivering exceptional results. This role would suit someone who is comfortable with repetitive work.
