Overview
Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to fill a part-time role in Colchester. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of nursing and the practices within the NHS. This NHS role will need someone compassionate and a flexible professional to support the team. You will deliver a day service to people that are suffering with eating disorders and offer any support that the individual may need. You must have a natural warmth and kindness and have good interpersonal skills. You will need to deliver a range of groups, commonly modelling ‘normal’ eating behaviours as part of supported meals and snack plan and monitor physical health and the possible risks. This role will be Tuesday and Thursday but could consider different days for the correct candidate, 08:30 to 16:30. The pay rate for this Band 5 Staff Nurse is £18.00 per hour (umbrella), starting ASAP, initially for 3 months.
