Overview
An opportunity has arisen for proactive and passionate Senior Care Assistant to join the team at this lovely residential and dementia care home for older people in Stockport. All roles are permanent and we have days and nights roles available, both full and part-time. The ideal candidate will hold, or be working towards, NVQ Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care. The successful candidate will have a variety of responsibilities including personal care, assisting residents with daily tasks, updating and reviewing care plans, medication management, liaising with healthcare professionals and ensuring that high quality care is being provided. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant looking for a new challenge, or an experienced Care Assistant looking to take the next step in their career. You must have current, recent experience working in care, as well as a real desire to make a difference to residents lives. Full time roles work on a 3 on, 3 off pattern of 12 hour shifts. Days pays £9.50 per hour and nights £10 per hour. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS and satisfactory referencing.
