Overview
Children's Support Worker needed for a children's home in Stourbridge. Your new company Hays Social Care are recruiting Support Workers on a temporary basis for a children's home in Stourbridge. Your new role The role involves engaging with young people to promote self-worth, education and community involvement. You will be responsible for encouraging day to day tasks, taking the young people to school, activities and visits where required. You will be expected to work shift patterns. What you'll need to succeed Ideally you will have previous experience working with children and young people, either within a residential setting or experience working with challenging behaviour. If you have transferable skills working with adults with complex needs or autism you will also be considered. You will have to hold a Level 3 in Children and Young People.
