We are looking for a CAMHS Ward Manager (RMN/RNLD) with a passion for delivering the best quality of care. You will be working 40 hours per week at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield. Cygnet Hospital Sheffield offers a low secure service for women and CAMHS services for male and female adolescents over three distinct wards. Your Day-to-Day… Provide the highest standard of nursing care, therapeutically based on a named nurse/ team nursing approach and be a role model to junior staff Co-ordinate clinical aspects of the ward and, alongside the RC and MDT, ensure a sound co-operation between the clinical departments in the interests of delivering an excellent service to patients Be conversant with and implement all relevant policies, procedures and regulations, whether clinical or administrative or representing interface between the two areas. Where appropriate this will entail ensuring compliance by others of such policies, procedures and regulations Support staff through regular debriefs, supervision, appraisals, training, team meetings and development of evidence/ research based practice Participate in the manager’s on-call system to provide the first point of contact for ward based staff, outside of normal working hours Lead by example to ensure that standards of clinical care and documentation are consistently high Why Cygnet?
