Overview
We are developing team members who want to work for people who have learning disabilities, Autism / Mental health needs, Dementia and for people with multiple and profound disabilities in our specialist services. Some experience would be an advantage but is not essential as in-depth induction and ongoing training, development and support is provided. At times you will provide emergency short notice cover across a range of services during periods of sickness and work on short term assignments within services to cover staff shortages in between recruitment. As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative are vital; experience however is not essential, but a willingness to learn with compassion and patience are essential.
