Engineering Manager – ML and NLP start-up Engineering Manager needed for a company using ML and NLP to help companies make better data driven decisions. They have grown to nearly 100 people, across two continents and are expanding quickly having just secured ten’s of millions in funding. It’s a really exciting to join – they are opening up new customers, new markets and taking on people to continue the development of their product, and with the money to invest in their people As a result of this their growth they are looking for a Engineering Manager to run one of their squads. What will you do? As an Engineering Manager, you will be running a full stack tech team (React and Python) of some truly awesome developers. Your team will be working on the company’s core product, ensuring that the best solutions are shipped to customers. You will report to the Director of Engineering. What do you need? You need some experience of engineering management or tech leadership – you will be running a team of around 4-6 initially, so some sort of management experience is needed. As is a passion for getting the best out of people You will also need a strong tech background. Experience working as a software engineer is a must. The team you will be running is primarily backend Python focused so some proficiency will be needed in this – as part of the interview process you will be asked to take a short Python test. You don’t need to be an expert, just proficient Salary and benefits: Paying 80-100k.
