Overview
Gable Essex Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client who is one of the largest brands within its industry in the UK. This position is for a full time Maintenance Engineer based in Basildon . Salary 34k - 36k Depending on experience and a generous annual bonus scheme. The role and what you'll be doing: Responsible for Preventative and Reactive Engineering work to improve the machine reliability, availability and capacity. Working with third party equipment suppliers - maintenance/engineering activities that are in line with the agreed SLA's. Carrying out Preventative Maintenance and operational problems on equipment to maximum OEE. Reactive Maintenance-corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality to reduce time. First point of contact for other departments and Liaising with the shift manager to support manufacturing and production. Testing the equipment (Clearing Jams, try out equipment after repairs). Ensure all the compliance checks are completed and correctly filed.
