Overview

Reed Social Care are currently working with Sunderland City Council's Together For Children to recruit an experienced Social Worker with knowledge in Child Protection to join a Longer Term team within the authority. Some duties for this team are: - Completing s47 investigations - Initiating court proceedings - Managing a caseload of CP, CIN and LAC - Managing cases from point of referral by Initial Response Service - Attending child protection conferences Applicants must have a qualification in Social Work to degree level or equivalent (e.g BSc, BA, MA, CQSW, DipSW) and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
