Overview
Our FTSE listed client, based in Central London, is looking for an experienced R2R Lead. The successful candidate must be a qualified Accountant with 7 years exposure to Transformation within Blue chip companies. Key elements of the role include:- 1) Driving "day by day" processes for accounting operations. This will require the R2R Lead to: -Evolve and develop policies for the processes -Evolve and develop the future design and vision for the processes -Ensure all controls and processes are "fit for purpose" and balances the standard capability of the relevant technology enablers -Drive improvement in efficiency, internal control and process performance -Ensure the consistent and timely measurement of process performance -Liaise with other Global Process Leads to ensure consistency in documentation and approach -Act as the caretaker for any material variations for the global design during the time when Business as usual and Deployment activities overlap and take full ownership once deployments are finished -Drive the deployment of controls and process throughout the business 2) Own all aspects of the delivery for certain initiatives - including securing buy-in/acceptance from the Business, implementation, benefits measurement and tracking. 3) Work on control design and role within the accounting operations work-streams to allow the Risk and Controls frameworks to be improved or maintained. 4) Update all relevant business process documentation. 5) Analysis and interpretation of process improvement metrics including real-life application into the global ways of working benchmarking. 6) Work with Finance Leads to ensure proper Change Management practices are adhered to
