Overview
Experienced Technical Architect for DevOps primarily focused on Azure DevOps. Candidate must have experience implementing large scale DevOps programs. Must have experience writing technical proposals and designing DevOps architecture from requirements phase. Skills/Domain experience : Broad understanding of DevOps tools and technologies like Azure, AWS, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker and Kubernetes Sound knowledge on DevOps platform in manufacturing and sales domains for both on-premise and cloud/distributed computing Hands-on experience with envisioning, designing, building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools Undertake POCs for large programs incorporating costs and benefits, and presents proposals Responsibilities: Design and deploy DevOps solutions based on functional specifications for large enterprise while meeting quality and performance requirements and technical constraints using Azure DevOps Implement enterprise-wide DevOps strategy and system architecture for various applications in large programs comprising of several applications Support projects delivery from platform readiness and high-availability in DevOps environments Ensure designs and standardizations for DevOps components meet industry best practices Ensure all release and deployment packages can be tracked, installed, tested, verified and rolled back in adherence to CI/CD practices Provide excellent subject matter expertise and mentors other engineers which fosters innovation Act as a trusted advisor driving critical decisions in software development lifecycle, priorities, deliverables and relevant project information aligning with business goals Willing to travel in UK, Europe or India including possible secondment to undertake project work Working hours: 37.5 hours/week Work location: London The last date for receiving applications is 22nd April 2020
