Overview
We are looking for full and part time Care Assistants in the Plymouth and surrounding areas of Devon. Full training is provided so previous experience is not required. However, it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Who would you be joining? You could be joining a company who have been awarded OUTSTANDING by the CQC on 2019 for the high level of care they provide for their clients. They have a fantastic reputation for their commitment to both Clients and their Care Assistant. The owners opened in 2012 after they realised there was a need for high quality care in the Plymouth community following one of their family members whose home care didn’t meet their expectations. Pay rates, hours & benefits £9.00 - £18.64 per hour. Full and part time hours available. Mileage allowance paid travel time. Could you? Help provide a homecare service which is completely bespoke to the person’s needs and allows them to stay living independently in their own homes. You will be closely matched with older adults close to where you live, but also around hobbies and interests that you may share. Could you also: - Assist someone with daily routines such as preparing for the day or going to bed? Prepare meals and do some light household duties? Assist with shopping or attending local groups, events or appointments? Assist with showering/bathing, dressing and other elements personal care where necessary? Prompt someone to take their medication? Be a friendly companion and someone they can rely on and talk to? This is so much more than a job; you would be making a real difference in a person’s life.
