Grounds Maintenance - Cemetery
Overview
NOTTINGHAM, Grounds Maintenance, ASAP Start, Cemeteries We are working with a local authority in Nottingham, and we are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative / Cemetery Assistant to start immediately working in the area's cemeteries. Grounds Maintenance will primarily be the main purpose of the role however tending to the gardens, general upkeep of cemetery grounds and grass cutting will be required. The role would be 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with working times initially 8am to 4pm Monday moving to 10am to 6pm in the summer months. The role requires a person who is physically fit and able to work outdoors undertaking a wide range of grounds maintenance duties however they will also need to have good communication skills and the ability to use a pc / hand held technology. Previous experience of working in a Cemetery environment would be helpful if possible. You must be compassionate individual and able to cope with working in a cemetery environment. This is a temporary contract that has the potential to go permanent. A full Driving license is required for this role.
