Overview

Home Manager Reports to: Director / Provider Position Summary This role is to hold the position of Registered Manager and be responsible for the general management of the care home under the guidance of the Director / Provider. Principle Duties and Accountabilities To manage, evaluate and develop all aspects of service provision in the care home to an exemplary standard. The Home Manager will ensure that all relevant policies, procedures, legislation and best practice are complied with. Establish and maintain an excellent setting that is enjoyable, effective, forward thinking and caring towards all whom live in, work at and visit the care home. The Home Manager will work with the Director/Provider to shape the strategic direction of the care home. Person Qualities & Specification Smartly presented and excellent communication skills Ideally have at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role within a residential or dementia care home Preferably hold Level 4 QCF or above Able to demonstrate working knowledge of care homes and the relevant legislation Strong leadership and organisational skills Self-motivated and flexible and available management style Committed to high standards Remuneration The role of Registered Home Manager is offering £50,000 - £55,000 dependent on candidate experience.
