IT Service Desk Analyst Newport based - driving license required £19,000 Are you a keen and enthusiastic Service Desk Analyst who is committed to continuous improvement and self development? Do you have experience in resolving technical issues? (hardware/desktop/mobile devices or software) Are you an excellent problem solver who has the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels? If so, then the team at Meridian Business Support would like to hear from you. We are currently working with our well established client to recruit an experienced Service Desk Analyst to work as part of their growing team. You will have first class customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner. Duties to include: Acting as first point of contact for IT Service Desk support. Logging all relevant incidents/service request details, allocating categorising and prioritising codes. Providing first-line investigation and diagnosis. Resolving incidents/service requests when first contacted whenever possible within agreed SLA's. Escalating incidents/service request that cannot be resolved within agreed timescales. Communication with users - keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages, etc. Knowledge of the ITIL framework would be an advantage, as would experience using the Microsoft Office365 cloud software suite, however, full training will be given. Essential criteria: Experience of working within technical Service Desk environment including first time resolution. Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows 10. Active Directory Administration Experience. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to document processes and procedures in a clear, concise and logical manner.
