Overview
Our client, a forward-thinking, industry-leading business based near Canterbury is seeking an Interim Management Accountant for a period of approximately 3 months. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for taking ownership of the management accounts whilst implementing improvements to streamline existing processes. Responsibilities: • Preparation and execution of monthly management accounts • Preparation and execution of reconciliations • Liaising with external auditors • Analysing financial statements for discrepancies and carrying out relevant investigations • Data gathering and analysis • Ad-hoc project support Your Profile: • Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA (QBE may be considered) • Intermediate Excel skills are an absolute minimum • High organised individual who has the ability to work autonomously or within a team • Demonstratable experience of data analysis • Experience of a high-volume, fast-paced work environment To be considered for this role you must be available to start immediately. Our client is offering between £45k - £50k equivalent for a period of approximately 3 months with an option to review and potentially extend or go permanent.
