Overview

Our client, a creative branding and design agency is looking for an IT Support Technician to work on a temporary basis. They need someone to start immediately, if possible. The role is to provide technical support for their systems and equipment. There is a mixed environment of Windows and Mac Desktop computers, laptops, applications and related technology. You will be required to set up and maintain mobile phones. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software in order to deliver required desktop service levels. Develop and maintain an inventory of all computers, monitors, keyboards, hard drives and other components and equipment, ordering components as needed. Provide system training for new starters and ensure their awareness of IT policy. Ensure the company directory is maintained according to company updates. Provide user training for hardware/software products; identifies problems and resolve hardware/software/network malfunctions; performs minor hardware/software/network maintenance, hardware installation/replacement. Manage the maintenance and support of printers, scanners and large printers Skills, Knowledge and Experience Previous experience of working in a helpdesk role Previous experience of working with Office 365 Able to deal with multiple queries and be proactive in ensuring that queries are dealt with in priority order, managing the expectation of all employees Exposure to supporting users with Microsoft Office (including Teams), AutoCAD, Sketchup, Cinema4D, Vray, Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator More) would be advantageous
