Management Accountant Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 Basic DOE Location: West Yorkshire Are you looking for a new challenge where you will be responsible for assisting a UK finance function in a well renowned global business? Would you like to work with a large Private Equity backed manufacturing and engineering business focusing on the UK operation? Our Client: A global Manufacturing and Engineering company with a £250 million global turnover focusing on heavily engineered, industrial products has grown both organically and through acquisition year on year offering an excellent career opportunity to continue driving growth across the £50m turnover UK business. The company offer a full design, build and repair service for large capital equipment working across a variety of sectors including: mining, oil and gas, marine, power generation and manufacturing/engineering to name a few. They are one of the market leaders in their industry sector with manufacturing facilities on every continent. Role: Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for assisting the UK finance team with daily responsibilities including reporting and volume transactional duties. The successful candidate will: Be responsible for all aspects from set up to completion of Sales and Purchase Ledger admin up to Trial Balance including cash book posting. Support the finance team high-volume transactional duties such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and to assist with Credit Control. Liaise with auditors and assist with their needs. Weekly reporting for Debtors, Creditors & Overdues. Assist with weekly Cash forecasting. VAT returns, import duty and EC sales. Balance sheet reconciliations including Bank and Petty Cash. Supplier Statement reconciliations. Report/Agree intercompany balances. What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills teamed with a minimum AAT Qualification. CIMA, ACCA, or ACA accounting qualification however candidates who are part qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA will be considered for the post. (study support available) Experience working in a relevant (Engineering, Manufacturing or Service) industry sector is desirable, not essential.
