Overview

Due to ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Team Leader to join a large established Recycling company based in Manchester. The company is a market leader within its field of Recycling, winning many prestigious awards and have ambitious growth plans to enhance their current services across the UK This role requires the day to day management of the maintenance department/team members to ensure all equipment and machinery is maintained and repaired to optimum operational standards. Equipment/machinery includes heavy static plant such as shears, balers and shredders and heavy mobile plant used within the recycling industry. Whilst predominantly office based, your expertise knowledge and experience will be utilised on a daily basis, in both ensuring the department runs smoothly and in the development of the team members. Key Responsibilities: Plan and arrange activities related with equipment maintenance Co-ordinate plant shutdowns Plan and organise preventative and reactive maintenance schedules Establish working relationships with suppliers and negotiation of price/SLAs where necessary Provide technical assistance to team members as required Complete and maintain all documentation on the CMMS Key Competencies: Ability to work as part of a team and assist/support colleagues Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and meet deadlines The ability to direct, guide advise and develop team members Essential Skills: Proven track record of working in a comparable role Working knowledge/experience of CMMS software (specific training will be provided) Ability to understand technical drawings ONC qualification or equivalent IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook) People Management experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Hours - 07.45 - 17.00 Monday to Friday.
