Overview
I am currently working with one of our well-established care providers that is looking to appoint a Commissioning Manager that can join their team and lead on commissioning new services for the company. As a company they provide high quality of care to individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviours. They are an ambitious company and as such require a proven Manager with a track record of commissioning new services and developing the business to help with their growth plans. Commissioning Manager Responsibilities: Identifying new business opportunities Managing budgets Ensuring compliance with regulations Working with regulatory bodies and local placing authorities Creating and developing strong relationships - internal and external Have a strong network with Commissioners and professionals within Clinical Commissioning Groups and local authorities. Leading and motivating your team Increase occupancy and scope new service models. Be a part of the bidding process and winning bids Commissioning Manager Requirements: Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and engage with individuals at all levels. Has a track record of working in partnership with a range of senior professionals to develop new business opportunities. Will thrive in an externally facing role and who will have the charisma and gravitas to represent our organisation at a strategic level An excellent grasp and understanding of CQC standards and regulations Previous management experience Mental Health & Learning disability experience will be beneficial Commissioning services experience is essential A valid driving license and the ability to travel and stay away from home on a frequent basis If you are interested in the above position call Jen on or email an up to date CV to "As part of our continual pursuit of quality candidates we appreciate and reward candidate recommendations from you if we successfully secure them a position.
