Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Gardening Team Supervisor to join their growing Community and Open Spaces Team based in Highgate, North London. Job Title: Gardening Team Supervisor Location: Highgate, North London Salary: £26,839 - £29,822 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours) Position available from April 2020 Closing date: Monday 23rd March 2020 at 9am Gardening Team Supervisor - About Us: Our client is a charity based in Highgate, North London. Gardening Team Supervisor – The Role: Ourclient are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Gardening Team Supervisor to act as project lead and supervisor for their Gardeners Community Open Spaces Team. In this new role you will lead the team to deliver horticultural, landscaping and maintenance projects mainly in community open space and venues (such as schools, community centres, public parks etc). You will closely liaise with community partners to plan and co-ordinate this work. Gardening Team Supervisor - You will have: - Relevant vocational qualifications and/or proven experience of horticultural work - A sound plant knowledge and knowledge of horticultural procedures and processes - A full clean drivers’ licence and experience of driving vans/ work vehicles - The ability to supervise and train inexperienced team members - Experience of working with people with special educational needs and/or disabilities is desirable This post involves working closely with young people and vulnerable adults therefore appointment will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Barred List checks.
