Overview
PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER £22,000 - £27,600 Normanton Are you looking for an opportunity to progress and develop within a supportive production culture in a market leading Manufacturing company who drive to succeed? As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for driving the performance of your team to achieve above and beyond their expected KPIs - paying particular focus on training and development, up skilling where possible. You will assist the Production Manager to ensure the department is run in the most cost effective and efficient manner, ensuring all health & safety is complied with and agreeing production schedules. The role will need your positive attitude when holding daily activity briefings, ensuring that planned KPI's are met. You will implement cost effective measures, monitor stock, create bills of materials and ensure all raw materials are available for the production teams. Your skills with 5S, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement will be welcomed by my client. With 25 direct reports, you will need to engage and inspire the team to achieve production schedules inline with company expectations and customer requirements. At Least 2 years of experience at Team Leader/Supervisory level in manufacturing/production a fast paced environment. Experience in working within diverse teams with an adaptable management style
