Commercial Finance Manager PE-backed construction business £60,000 - £65,000 per annum Wigan The Opportunity: Finatal are currently supporting an exciting PE-backed property and construction business based near Wigan. The company have adopted an expansive and acquisitive business strategy combined with year on year growth. With a turnover of c. £50m t/o, our client’s business model is headed up via an industry recognised CFO and senior management team. We are seeking a bright, energetic and enthusiastic Finance Manager to act as number 2 with a passion for adding commercial value, analysing, underpinning and reporting MI for driving strategic change in the business. The Role: As Commercial Finance Manager, your duties will consist of: Undertaking commercial analysis to drive business growth alongside PE investors Support intermittent M&A including dd and integration of newly acquired businesses Driving strategic decision making through diligent use of MI In depth analysis of external factors including competitors, market mapping and economy Extensive use of Excel, including pivot tables and modelling Leading a small team of 4 qualified accountants Updating and developing the existing integrated forecast model Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Other ad-hoc tasks as required The Requirements: You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Experience of adding strategic value through diligent use of MI Confidence to introduce new ideas and drive change Experience of operating within a construction business is highly desirable Ability to operate in a fast paced and high growth business Implementation of process improvements is a must Experience or thorough understanding of PE/VC or similarly agile structure is desirable.
