As a financial accountant you will be based at the head office in Burnley, Lancashire but with the business operating from multiple sites nationally, you will need to travel on occasion for project work and various internal meetings/events. The financial accountant will be responsible for: Preparing year end statutory accounts Generating management accounts in Excel Management of the HMRC online system Management and payment of corporation tax Calculating VAT returns Assist the preparation of the annual budget and business plan submission for the board Assist with production of monthly cash flow forecasts Support the financial controller by providing technical accounting guidance Project work as required What you’ll need to have: Full professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) Statutory and management accounting experience Balance sheet management and cash forecasting experience Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint and Word Experience using financial applications such as Sage Apply today For sheer progression opportunities and above average benefits, this is a role not to let pass by.
