Overview

Our client, an established, firm of Chartered Accountants are looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team in Gerrards Cross. You will be dealing with a mixed portfolio of clients, mainly small to medium sized Limited Companies, as well as sole traders, partnerships and LLP's. The firm's core clients are owner-managed businesses and they work in a wide range of industry sectors such as; service, marketing, professional services, recruitment, manufacturing and technology Companies. The role will be split 50/50 between audit and accounts and will involve carrying out audit assignments from planning throught to completion, statutory accounts preparation and corporation tax. The majority of their audits are for Companies with turnovers ranging from £5M through to £30M and they also deal with a number of Charity audits. You will also supervise, train and mentor junior members of staff. You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified, or be studying towards the qualification and you will have previous practice experience of at least 2-3 years, with an audit, accounts and bookkeeping background. A sound knowledge of IFRS would also be an advantage, as well as a good understanding of systems such as Microsoft and IRIS.
