Graduate Consulting Sales Newcastle Upon Tyne £28,000 (OTE £31,000 - £33,000) Company Car Industrial Automation Our client supplies sensors, measuring systems, laser makers, microscopes and machine vision systems to clients worldwide. As a Graduate Consulting Sales Executive you will be trained in direct sales to be able to tackle tough applications and answer technical questions about the products. THE ROLE: We are searching for ambitious graduates who are hungry to succeed and looking to advance their career within Consulting Sales. You will be provided with a 4 - 8 week training programme which aims to give you a strong technical understanding of their products and an idea of what you will encounter out on the road. However, this is only the start of your continued training and development which will take place throughout your career Direct Sales position to which you will be delegated your own territory Weekly Structure: 2 Office Days, 3 Field Days Your role will be to find and follow up on business leads and schedule new business opportunities You will be meeting and demonstrating their products to technicians, engineers, managers and directors in order to sell effective solutions To be a key contributor to their dynamic, close knit sales team To be able to work in a fast paced environment where no two weeks are the same YOU: Degree educated. Ideally 2.1 or above in a Business or Technical Discipline. We will accept degrees from all other disciplines and 2:2 grade providing grades in Maths/Physics are strong at GCSE or A Level and that you can demonstrate you have worked throughout University in a role where you have gained transferable skills. 1 2 years' of commercial experience or working whilst at University if a new graduate. Proven leadership qualities, for example captain of a sports team Professional attitude Confident and ambitious. A positive, enthusiastic and driven character. Willing to learn. You must hold a full driving licence (manual) and be eligible to work in the UK without a VISA.
