Overview
Finance Officer, Oldham, £26,000 Client Details A brilliant opportunity to join a very well established public sector organisation based in Oldham. There is a vacancy in the busy finance team for a Finance Officer. Description Provide support in the production of the monthly management accounts. Review, calculate and post accruals and adjustment journals so that the management accounts provide an accurate reflection of our financial performance. Assist in running reports and providing information for budget holders and provide analysis of variances to budget. Resolve coding queries from budget holders and Finance staff, and post adjustments to the ledger to correct financial data. Provide support with annual budget setting and quarterly/monthly forecasting. Profile Good working knowledge of accounting fundamentals. Experience of calculating and posting accruals and adjustment journals. Experience of producing financial reports and related information for budget holders. Experience of month end financial processes. Good understanding of internal financial controls. Proven customer service experience.
