Overview
An exciting vacancy has opened for a Senior Transport Planner to join a well-respected, exclusive client of ours in the North East. This role will suit a professional and experienced Transport/Logistics candidate with a background in the Food/Drink or FMCG industries The Role: · Thinking ahead to ensure UK distribution runs smoothly. · Maximising efficiency through daily transport plans. · Training a close-knit team of Junior Planners. · Monitoring driver compliance. The Candidate: · Extensive knowledge of fast-moving transport/logistics. · Strong data/numerical skills. · A “guiding hand” for the Junior Planners. · Familiar with common transport planning software (preferably Paragon ) What’s on Offer: · Competitive salary. · Excellent Benefits.
