Trainee CNC Setter Operator (Miller) - £19760 to £21840 My client is a state of the art manufacturing, machining and assembly company based in Hitchin, with a high performance culture of precision engineering, who make key components for the aerospace industry. They have a great opportunity for a junior CNC Setter Operator. You must be able to fit in with a small team, interact well with others and have an easy going nature. We are looking for an engineer who is keen, motivated, with attention to detail and likes to do a quality job. The hours of working are; Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.30pm Friday 7am to 11am Annual Leave 23 days bank holidays Job role You will be mostly be operating a Bridgeport machine, with Heidenhain controls, although the opportunity is there to learn other machines. You need to be able to set up tools and run the machine Manufacture and check conformance (before submission for first off) of on-going production requirements. To carry out other necessary tasks and work flexibly, (where your experience, skills and knowledge is required) to support the business activities of the Company.
