Overview
Forklift Driver / FLT Operator Location: Cheshunt - North London - Easily accessible via M25 Salary: DOE Company: Global leading organisation serving indoor, outdoor and online markets. Role: The post holder will be responsible for completing the workload as provided by their Line Manager, in an efficient and professional manner. This candidate will have an up to date Reach and Counterbalance FLT license. Responsibilities Ensure all daily MHE check(s) are carried out and check sheet(s) are completed Ensure that the working area of the forklifts are clear and accessible at all times To be versed in the usage of required internal computer programs & databases To assist & complete stock location checks as requested, including any adjustments (if required) maintaining stock accuracy and integrity To be available for monthly & annual stock takes Ensure stock is stored adequately to minimise damage when goods are placed and removed from locations Take ownership of Stock keeping tasks Suggest & assist with the implementation for stock/storage improvements Operate a FIFO process if stock permits To load & unload vehicles effectively with caution following all H&S guidelines Ensure any goods being made ready for despatch are wrapped/strapped adequately & correctly to avoid any risk of damage Assist/Undertake in all picking activities as instructed to keep all Machines and Finishing departments in advance of present schedules Requirements: To effectively follow verbal and written instructions and raise issues that arise Take responsibility of stock storage & handling Ability to complete paperwork in English accurately and completely Understand the importance of detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment and individually Self managing and pro-active Current Reach and Counterbalance FLT certification Apply: Please email your full CV details to us.
