Overview
Temporary Seasonal Work – Engineers To meet the demand for fresh food during these challenging times, our client is offering paid temporary seasonal agricultural employment to help feed and nourish our nation. They have opportunities for Engineers available based at the sites in and around the Ely area. The engineers are a critical part of their Harvest teams, maintaining purpose-built specialist harvesting machinery and equipment, ensuring that production downtime is kept to a minimum. They’re looking for people who have the basics in welding, cutting, fabrication, hydraulics, electrics and mechanical. They are also using PLC’s, Can bus, Solid works, 3 phase electrics, redpack/Fuji flow wrappers, Brimapack autowrappers and Pilz safety relay, knowledge in any of these areas is preferable but not essential. They have a comprehensive store on site with barcode scanning to keep track of stock and Kardex machine to allow greater storage. Earn c. £400 per week, Hostel accommodation is available.
