Process Engineer - Plastic Injection Moulding - Swindon - £50k

We are looking to recruit an experience Mould Process Engineer to join a global technology company in Swindon . The role will have the following responsibilities: To own and coordinate the production platform moulding process . lead fault identification and correction to provide process improvements. Help drive production KPI'S. To support transfer of NPI into the production environment. Facilitate production input to design / specification, purchase, installation and qualification of moulding and packaging equipment and service requirements for their installation. Selection and management of equipment suppliers Identify and implement process improvements (efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness). Fully document activities and equipment qualification work in accordance with internal procedures, GMP and Regulatory Controls. Support integration of new technologies in moulding and process development for the site. Provide support for training / development of technician and engineering resources. Communicate and provide regular and accurate up to date work planning and reports for jobs and activities on related projects. Demonstrate strong and clear accountability / responsibility for successful and timely completion of designated tasks. Ensure compliance with quality policies, cGMP, procedures, and practices through appropriate communication, training, and education of sound quality assurance principle. Ensures all activities, equipment and facilities comply with site cGMP, health, safety and environmental policies. What we are looking for: Degree or HND in Engineering , preferably Mechanical, Polymer Science or similar. Hands on engineering experience in plastic injection moulding within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment. Knowledge of polymers and injection mould tool designs .
