Payroll Specialist - Stockport - Accountancy Firm Your new Firm You will be working with a highly regarded and well established firm of chartered accountants based in the heart of Stockport. This general practice offer a range of services to their clients inclusive of Accounts, Tax and Payroll and following an internal promotion they are looking to appoint an additional Payroll Specialist to their successful team. Your new role As a Payroll Specialist at this firm you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients who's employee numbers range from 20 - 500. You will undertake the end to end process for them, from creating new starters to processing P60s and P45s. Your role will see you issue statutory payments as well as pensions and you will be required to deal with any queries that arise from both clients and HMRC. What you'll need to succeed In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy practice previously and you should be able to run the end to end payroll process relatively autonomously. You must have excellent communication skills as you will be expected to develop relationships with the clients in your portfolio and liaise with the wider business. Experience of using IRIS payroll would be an advantage however isn't essential.
