A great opportunity for an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join a well-established, highly regarded private practice based in York. Working in a friendly, vibrant team, you will benefit from a competitive salary, free parking, healthcare, Perkbox, holiday purchase scheme and much more As part of a friendly team you will be involved with: Preparing accounts from a variety of client's systems including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc Auditing of financial statements from planning to completion, including responsibility for managing the on-site audit team Preparation of corporation tax computations Actioning queries raised by accounts and tax managers on the drafts Finalisation of the accounts and corporation tax computations following client meeting Acting as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries Ideally you will be: ACA or ACCA qualified Have recent relevant experience of owner-managed small to medium businesses accounts preparation, either statutory financial statements or management accounts preparation Be technically strong Be driven to deliver excellent client service Have a track record in delivering to tight client deadlines Experience of running audits would be desirable, but not essential Experience of charities and company & personal taxation issues would be desirable, but not essential Experienced in a role such as an Accountant, Accounts Semi-Senior, Accounts Senior, Auditor, or Audit Senior The benefits: A competitive salary and excellent benefits package Continued career progression in a growing accountancy practice Friendly, inclusive working environment Onsite free parking If you are interested in applying for this Audit Senior position, please click apply now Castle Employment is an award-winning recruitment company based in Scarborough, Leeds and York.
