Overview
Brief Outline An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Works Design Manager to join our client’s technical team and progress the department throughout the company’s ongoing expansion throughout the UK market and abroad. The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in their various projects and their progress. About our Client Our client is a market leading, construction contractor working across the UK and in Europe. As a company, they deliver specialist Temporary Works solutions to some of London’s most prestigious commercial and infrastructure projects. Their turnover has increased year-on-year and have a large pipeline of work for the year ahead already. About the Role They are looking for an experienced designer with extensive experience in CAD design for construction, civils and infrastructure projects, overseeing designs from concept to completion, finding sustainable solutions while pushing the boundaries of design. You will oversee a team of design engineers, as well as liaising with contracts management colleagues, H&S representatives and clients. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for supporting the project team as a technical lead, finding design solutions for a diverse range of projects. About the Candidate Previous experience in design for large commercial temporary works contracts Experience in design management is preferable Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise Analytical and problem-solving skills Sound knowledge and understanding of scaffolding systems Points of Appeal Freedom within the role Competitive salary and package Company with a full order book across the UK and Europe
