In response to the unprecedented events we are currently experiencing due to the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, at this time we will be conducting our interviews via video calls. We are looking for Waking Night Male Support Workers in St Albans. You will be supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge. We offer fantastic benefits, training and a great team environment. This is a supported living service with six individual flats supporting adults between 22 to 57 years old. They are all very active and like to get involved with exciting activities such as swimming, sailing, trampolining, horse riding, bowling and cinema. They also like board games (Scrabble is a favourite), theme parks, local night clubs and enjoying time outdoors at holiday parks or Dunstable downs. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic and happy to try new things. This role will involve managing challenging behaviours and supporting people’s needs to help them develop the skills to be independent. You will prompt with personal care and be active in assisting with their household tasks. Be prepared to work flexibly as you will be part of a wider support team.This could include working some weekends, day shifts and bank holiday. This is a part time/relief position and we can offer a range of hours from as little as 7.5 hours per week.
