LEAN PRACTITIONER / PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER CHEMICAL ENGINEERING BACKGROUND To £60,000 BONUS PENSION (match up to 10%) Our client is a successful, chemical manufacturing company who are experiencing rapid growth in their markets. To accommodate this growth, they are now embarking on a Lean / Six Sigma journey to improve processes across site. We now have a great opportunity for an experienced Lean / Six Sigma Practitioner from a Chemical Engineering background to join the team in Norfolk. Key responsibilities; Implement and manage continuous improvement projects to transform business processes Provide engineering expertise to site-wide team and delivery CI training Lead the development of plant modification projects from concept to handover Use lean, Six Sigma tools and techniques to ensure business objectives are satisfied Ensure all work carried out complies with company procedures and statutory legislation Contribute to capex projects; feasibility studies, justification, delivery schedules Act as Site Champion for all Lean, Six Sigma, CI initiatives ensuring all projects develop in line with timescales and budget Requirements; Degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering Chartered or working towards Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt qualification and detailed understanding of lean tools/techniques Good working knowledge of civil, mechanical, instrumentation and electrical engineering Track record of delivering large scale, continuous improvement projects and process optimization reviews Ability to recognize and remove bottlenecks to help improve process and delivery times Strong leadership and influencing skills Client APPLY NOW or for more information please contact Christine Edwards at Morgan Ryder Associates on 0151 480 2300 when possible to progress At Morgan Ryder we can provide you with a full range of employment opportunities from short term and fixed term temporary vacancies to permanent positions.
