Overview

Our client is currently hiring for a Warehouse Admin Clerk. This is a full-time permanent role based in the Goole area. We are looking for candidates who have previous experience in a similar role. You must be computer literate and have good attention to detail. Good timekeeping is also essential as well as the ability to communicate clearly on the phone, face to face and via email. All aspects of stock control, including: · Data input - maintaining & updating computer stock records · Providing stock information to customers · Stock reconciliation – physical stock vs computer records · Resolving any stock issues that may arise · Receiving & processing customer orders · Taking bookings from customers & hauliers via phone & e-mail · Liaising with the Operations dept with regards to customer stock levels & requirements (ie bagging) · Filing/archiving paperwork Skills required: · Computer literate – Microsoft excel, word, e-mail & PD in-house stock control system (training to be given) · Good communication skills – telephone internal/external, e-mail, 2-way radio & face to face · Work as part of a small team but also able to work on own initiative · Good timekeeping Due to the high volumes of applications we are currently receiving, we regret that we are only able to contact candidates who are successful in progressing to the next stage.
