CNC Machinists, Millers and Turners

Futures are looking to appoint skilled and experienced CNC machinists. Our client who is a leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery for the food processing industry, seek to appoint a time served/apprentice trained CNC machinist to join an increasing engineering team. As a CNC machinist you will be required to manufacture parts from engineering drawings to be supplied to their production assembly teams and also direct to the customers. CNC Machinists, Millers and Turners, Programmers, Operators, Setters Roles and Responsibilities Operate manual and CNC Milling machines and Lathes Self-inspection of parts produced. Work to defined schedules. Work to planned times. Maintain a safe and tidy environment in the work area To be aware of and follow all company Health and Safety policies and procedures Be familiar with Engineering workshop practices Skills and Attributes Have completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship or time served Engineer Fully conversant with Mills and Lathes using Fanuc / Siemens operating systems. Flexibility to work night shift (essential); also willingness to work overtime when required. Able to interpret drawings and specifications. Attention to quality. Able to work well within a team environment and to offer improvement ideas. High degree of self-motivation. Flexibility to undertake other tasks in other areas.
