Electronics Assembly Technician - Hatfield - £20K - £22.5K Qualifications/Requirements: ? Qualified to a minimum of ONC in electronics. ? Being able to demonstrate good understanding of electronics principles. ? Being able to use test equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Multi-Meters. ? Be adaptable and eager to learn new skills. ? Undertake tasks efficiently. ? Communicate effectively with supervisors. ? A desire to work with a fast moving team. Role Summary/Purpose Reporting to the workshop supervisor you will undertake repairs and maintenance of electronic equipment as well as assisting in the production of electromechanical sub-assemblies. You will be expected to repair equipment to component level and assist with developing repair techniques of new equipment. Essential Responsibilities: ? Work as part of a team reporting to the workshop supervisor. ? Undertake in house training programs. ? Once trained carryout maintenance and repairs of electronic equipment and sub-assemblies ? Once trained carryout light electromechanical assembly work. ? Good soldering skills and being capable of repairing electronic equipment to component level. ? Undertake testing of equipment by way of PC’s and associated test software. ? Complete work sheets and update PC based systems. ? Undertake routine tasks such as re-packing and labelling of equipment.
