Overview
Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for 3 x Class 1 drivers for a well-established client of ours based in Northallerton. The role includes collection and deliveries to internal parties within the company, delivering a variety of equipment. Start times vary from 4am - 8am and we can offer 2 to 5 shifts per week. This particular contract works well for those who are registered with another agency (we are happy to work around pre booked shifts) and those who are flexible on the number of shifts offered per week. For this role you will need a minimum of 1 year Class 1 driving experience and be able to pass a basic disclosure check (DBS). Due to the nature of the business and location of deliveries, a Class 2 vehicle if often used therefore you must be happy to drive both a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle (regardless of the vehicle you drive you will be paid as per the licence you hold) You will attend an unpaid 2 - 3 hour induction, followed by 2 days shadowing (paid £10ph) to train you up on their held hand scanners and to understand specific routes and loads they collect and deliver. Once your training has been signed off you will go into a pool of inducted drivers for this contract and shifts will be offered to you on a weekly basis for the upcoming week.
