Overview
Direct Production Buyer Division - Finance This is a 6 months maternity cover for an interior trim buyer with Aftermarket Purchasing.The individual will work on supplier availability metrics and supplier performance to ensure that part supplies are available to support JLR's availability target of 96% for the interior trim commodity. The role will also have a material cost reduction target. Skills required for this role are Supplier relationship management , Problem solving and Negotiation skills and CIPS Level 4 . The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a fast paced procurement function and an awareness of supply chain and manufactoring disciplines.Automotive or Aerospace industry experience is desirable.Ability yo build relatinships with suppliers and internal stakeholders in order to resolve problems effectively .
